Pudsey Bear pays a special visit to say thank you
As part of Asda’s fundraising for BBC Children in Need this year, we encouraged local children to get involved with our Bake the Bear campaign. We sent 570,000 Bake the Bear kits out to schools around the country to encourage children, schools and families to raise money for children and young people in need throughout the UK.

There was a fantastic response, and so to say a big well done and thank you, Pudsey Bear has been visiting the schools that took part.
In the picture above he’s visiting Cockston Hill Junior School in Bishop Aukland with Asda colleague Dorian Bell to say hello to the children who got involved and baked cookies to raise money.
Pudsey also accompanied Jacquii and Andrea, colleagues at ASDA Gravesend to visit children at Shears Green Infant school (left).
The school used the ASDA cookie cutters and baked biscuits which were sold at the end of the school day and raised in excess of £200 for BBC Children In Need
