Get baking for BBC Children in Need 2011

We’re proud to be supporting BBC Children in Need once again this year – and we’re encouraging our customers and colleagues to get baking and raise money with our theme “Show your Spots, Let’s Bake Lots”.

You’ll find everything you need in store to get started including our exclusive Pudsey Bear baking range – for every product purchased from the range we’ll make a donation to BBC Children in Need.

The range, which is in store from November 5th, includes Pudsey Bear baking kits for kids, cupcake cases and iced decorations. Our Pudsey Bear cake stand is a great way to show off the cupcakes and buns you make – it costs just £5 and 50p from every sale goes directly to BBC Children in Need.

You don’t have to be a fantastic cook to take part – anyone can make cupcakes and tasty treats with our kids’ baking kits and easy-to-make cupcake mixes. Check out our tips and simple recipe ideas on Your Asda for more inspiration.

We’ve also got exclusive BBC Children in Need t-shirts at George from November 10th – celebrities including Strictly judge Alesha Dixon and TOWIE’s Lydia Bright wore them for our celebrity photoshoot.

They’ve also been supporting this year’s Appeal by taking part in our Land of Cake Believe photoshoot – you can see the amazing photos from the day and watch our behind-the-scenes video on our George Style blog.

And X Factor band JLS have been wearing our men’s BBC Children in Need t-shirt also available exclusively at George. We’ve got two signed t-shirts to give away in our George competition.

You can find out more about what we’re doing to support BBC Chidlren in Need this year and how you can get involved on Your Asda.

And you can make a donation to BBC Children in Need through our fund-raising page.
