Get your nominations in for Tommy’s Baby Friendly Awards

We were delighted to win the ‘Best Family Supermarket’ Award at the Tommy’s Let’s Get Baby Friendly Awards in March – and nominations for this year are now open!

The awards recognise companies and organisations that help to make a difference to the lives of parents across the UK.

You can now nominate companies for Best family supermarket, Best family restaurant and Best baby changing facilities for a chance to win two tickets to the star-studded Tommy’s baby friendly Awards with Bounty ceremony in March 2013 – nominate here.

Nominations for each of the categories will be shortlisted and voting will open in January 2013.

We’re also proud to announce that we will be sponsoring the Courage Award for the third year running at Tommy’s Baby-friendly Awards 2013 to show our support to families across the UK.

Tommy’s Individual awards are very special accolades and awarded to some extraordinary people. And this award celebrates a couple or individual who has had a difficult road to parenthood but has made it through a difficult time in their lives with outstanding courage.

You can nominate someone for the Courage Award by emailing your story to awards@tommys.org – please make sure you include which award category your nomination is for.

We're now moving into our 13th year of supporting Tommy's and I personally couldn't think of a more deserving charity for our colleagues and customers to raise funds for. Tommy's is a charity that funds scientific research ensuring more babies are born healthy. They exist to save babies lives by funding research and providing information on the causes and prevention of miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth. With the support of Asda, I hope Tommy's are able to continue this vital research which will help support thousands of families every year.
